RETAIL AND ADMISSIONS STAFF
Seasonal full-time 40 hours a week
Part-time 24 hours a week - 2 openings
Duration for all positions: April - October / May - September
Primary Responsibilities:
Sell merchandise and admission tickets, welcome visitors and respond to their needs, keep gift shop/admission working area clean and organized, interact and coordinate with co-workers.
Strenghts and Skills:
Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays; experienced in customer service with strong communication skills, a fast learner, computer savvy and able to multi-task. Familiar with cash register and US currency.

SEASONAL NATURALIST (ZOO EDUCATOR)
Duration: Positions start as early as May 1, and may run through October 31
Primary Responsibilities:
Speaking and interacting with visitors. Educate visitors about the animals at the GWDC and their wild counterparts in the Great Yellowstone Ecosystem through formal programs and informal interactions. Answer related questions. Contribute to the development of educational materials as needed. Assist with administrative tasks. Enforce safety guidelines. Assist with grounds upkeep in public spaces, which includes light physical activity such as sweeping, shoveling snow, or cleaning public spaces. This position does not involve hands-on work with animals or any animal care duties.
